In the year 2009 it will have passed 50 years since Polish students and businessmen have been involved in the international program of internships’ exchange conducted by IAESTE. From the very beginning we have focused on the highest quality of service, conscientiously achieving our main aims through promoting international appreciation and goodwill. Our internships’ exchange program has lead to an enormous enrichment in students’ professional and management skills, giving them better carrier opportunities. Since 1959 through IAESTE Poland activity, 25 000 students have gained a very precious experience.
For the Golden Jubilee celebrations we plan inter alia to issue a special edition of the monograph about the history and the biggest achievements of IAESTE. Moreover, a special exhibition will be presented at main Polish academic centers, accompanied by numerous events organized by IAESTE Local Committees. The most significant ceremony of the celebrations will be the 62nd IAESTE General Conference, which will gather over 300 international guests from more than 90 countries from all over the world.
